Don't forget to set up your event categories and tags for better discoverability.

StickyEvent allows you to create multiple ticket types for your event. Navigate to the "Tickets" section when creating or editing your event. You can set up Early Bird tickets with time-limited pricing, VIP packages with special perks, Group discounts for bulk purchases, and Standard admission tickets. Each ticket type can have different prices, availability dates, and purchase limits. Consider your audience and event type when setting prices.

Once your event is live, you can monitor registrations in real-time through your dashboard. The registration management system allows you to view attendee details, send bulk communications, check-in attendees on event day, and handle special requests. StickyEvent charges a transparent fee structure with no hidden costs. Our standard fee is 3.5% + ₦50 per transaction for ticket sales. For voting contests, we charge 2.5% per vote. Volume discounts are available for large events with over 1000 tickets. Payment processing fees from banks and payment gateways are additional. We provide detailed fee breakdowns in your dashboard, so you always know exactly what you're paying for.

To receive payouts, you must verify your account and add banking information. Go to Account Settings > Payout Settings and provide your bank account details, BVN for verification, and business information if applicable. We support major Nigerian banks and mobile money providers. Account verification typically takes 24-48 hours. Once verified, payouts are automatically processed within 24 hours after your event ends.

StickyEvent supports flexible refund policies that you can customize for each event. You can offer full refunds up to a certain date, partial refunds closer to the event, or no refunds. Refund requests are processed through your dashboard where you can approve or decline them. Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. For event cancellations, you can issue bulk refunds with one click.

StickyEvent primarily operates in Nigerian Naira (₦), but we support international payments through our global payment partners. For events with international attendees, currency conversion is handled automatically at competitive rates. Exchange rates are updated in real-time, and attendees see prices in their local currency where supported. Organizers always receive payouts in Naira unless special arrangements are made.

As an event organizer, you're responsible for handling taxes on your event income. StickyEvent provides detailed financial reports that you can use for tax purposes. These include gross sales, net proceeds, fees paid, and transaction summaries. We recommend consulting with a tax professional for specific advice. For corporate events or large-scale operations, additional tax documentation may be required.

StickyEvent's voting system is designed to ensure fairness and transparency. When creating a voting contest, you can set voting prices, limit votes per user, enable anonymous voting, and set voting periods. Our anti-fraud system prevents vote manipulation through IP tracking, device fingerprinting, and user verification. You can also enable manual review for suspicious voting patterns. All voting data is encrypted and securely stored.

The analytics dashboard shows trending contestants, voting patterns over time, and revenue projections. Share live results with participants to maintain engagement, or keep results private until the contest ends.

Account verification is mandatory for receiving payouts and accessing advanced features. The process involves email verification, phone number confirmation, and identity verification using government-issued ID. Business accounts require additional documentation like CAC registration. Upload clear photos of required documents through your dashboard. Verification typically takes 24-48 hours, and you'll receive email updates on the status.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for enhanced account security. StickyEvent supports both SMS-based 2FA and authenticator apps like Google Authenticator or Authy. To enable 2FA, go to Account Settings > Security Settings and follow the setup wizard. You'll need to verify your setup by entering a test code. Keep backup codes in a safe place in case you lose access to your 2FA device.

For organizations running multiple events, StickyEvent offers team management features. Add team members with different permission levels: Admin (full access), Editor (can edit events), Viewer (read-only access), or Custom roles with specific permissions. Team members receive invitation emails and must create their own accounts. You can revoke access at any time and monitor team activity through audit logs.

If you notice suspicious activity on your account or events, report it immediately through our security center. Signs of suspicious activity include unexpected login locations, unauthorized changes to events, unusual payment activity, or fake voter registrations. Use the "Report Issue" button in your dashboard or contact our security team directly. We investigate all reports promptly and take appropriate action to protect your account.
