Theme : Legislative frameworks for good governance: The Roles of legislative oversight in curbing corruption as a Tool for National Development
1. Executive Summary
The students house of senate propose a comprehensive students Parliamentary summit program for Youth Leaders, Parliamentarians and students designed to equip both parliamentarians and students in general with essential legislative, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The program will combine interactive workshops, mentorship sessions, group projects, and practical simulations to foster legislation, personal growth and leadership impact. Participants will emerge better equipped to lead initiatives in the institution and any position of leadership they might find themselves in at anytime and anywhere.
2. Program Objectives
By the end of the program, participants will be able to:
• Demonstrate improved leadership and decision-making skills.
• Apply effective communication and teamwork strategies.
• Build networks with peers and mentors for ongoing support.
• Exhibit greater confidence and resilience in facing personal and professional challenges
